- The Steam version is MUCH better in almost every aspect. The game was rebuilt, not just a port, so the graphics are pristine.
- The heroes are unlocked gradually, and all of the campaigns, as well as some exclusive ones, are there.
- The gameplay is much more challenging.
- The first is that the 'bonuses' such as a third spell and skins for the reinforcements.
- The second, and this is shared by large amounts of the community, is the Castle Blackburn bonus campaign add-on.

So, please "always ignore" or "something like that" file if your antivirus detected a virus in a file steam.dll (Steam .dll is not a viruses, only fault cause that surveillance system as a threat)
How to play with continued data on old version kingdom rush.
1. First, find the file that was written by a name slot1 / 2 / 3.DAT the old version folder Kingdom Rush (That you play).
2. Copy + paste in the folder rush kingdom latest version (V2.1 has been downloaded).
3. Everything is finished, (Now, you can delete the folder kingdom rush old version). That's it, happy playing kingdom rush with the latest one.
